Our Story
In 2003, my Momma Katie Higson started her first soap and body oil company. Since then, she has become an aromatherapist, a craniosacral therapist, an herbalist, and much more. In the last ten years or so, she has focused primarily on her craniosacral and wellness practice IASO Holistic Wellness and selling products has largely taken a back burner. However, she's never stopped formulating and has created many incredible recipes that people just beg for. I have been lucky enough to be a witness and a student to her passion and expertise. She and I have worked together to create Bleeding Heart Boutique Apothecary for which we are so very proud and excited. Bleeding Heart aims to share high-quality medicinal body oils, salves, and more with a larger audience that can experience the truly indescribable feeling of using beautiful, high-vibe, handcrafted products made from precious natural botanicals.
Bleeding Heart's mission is to bring a really special experience to each customer. These products have been formulated and perfected over many years. Bleeding Heart uses 100% pure herbs, essential oils, absolutes, and cold-pressed carrier oils.
